Hello everyone,

My name is John Jakubik and I'm from Plymouth, Michigan. This upcoming fall I will be a senior and I am majoring in Kinesiology.

I was intrigued by this course because I wanted to get other people's opinion on what leadership means and what it means to be a leader. I believe that taking bits and pieces of other people's knowledge will only make me a better leader. This summer I will be working up at school in addition to taking this class.

An artifact of mine that represents me as a leader is my football state championship ring from high school. We had a phenomenal group of seniors that understood how to come together and work as a whole for the betterment of the team. With all of our hard work, we were able to accomplish something that not a lot of people can say that have done. This ring just reminds how much our senior class's leadership meant to this team and ultimately leading to our state championship.
