The Social Change Model is all about combining the individual, group, and community to achieve positive change. I believe that one of the most foundational and important C's of the Social Change Model is commitment. Commitment is a requirement of every member of a team, group, or organization and with true commitment comes success. This quote by famous Green Bay Packers football coach encompasses my thoughts on the connection between leadership, hard work, and commitment. Leaders are made through hard work, commitment, and dedication toward a positive and worthwhile goal.

Another aspect of the Social Change Model that resonated with me is collaboration. This is so important to any organization or team experiencing success. This is why all star teams in sports are rarely overly successful. Individually, the players have an enormous amount of personal skill and talent. However, until they learn to work together and play together, they will not achieve their goals. This image shows the need for everyone to play a part in order to achieve the end result you desire; this is the idea behind collaboration: finding a way to bring people together and totally buy in to what they plan to work for.
