This quote from Gandhi relates to how change does not happen overnight because change needs to start with an individual and spread to others. It also is talking about how each person needs to decide to put forth effort to help change a collective group. It mainly focuses on the group values of common purpose and consciousness of self, as people need to be aware of what change they want to occur -  that person as an individual needs to be focused on this common person and how he or she acts to create that change.

I chose this quote by Albert Einstein because we have been talking about how different members and perspectives of a group can be beneficial if those talents are recognized. If we always identify one specific person as the "leader" or the person with "talent", then we are neglecting everyone else's abilities that can contribute to the entire community. We also are allowing others to feel disconnected from the community because they do not fulfill a specific role in the group - they believe that they are not as inspiring as the "leader", when in reality, their contributions are just as important for the success of the group.
