Current Connection:

In this blog, the man referenced and explained some of the views and perspectives about the Congruence Model. This blog left me a particularly deep impression. Like the content what we learned from textbook, "Congruence is acting in ways that are consistent with one's values and beliefs." He used two overlapping circles, which stands for the values and beliefs, to explain the definition of “Congruence”. In my opinion, in order for a person’s actions to be guided by their values they must have a deep understanding of what values and beliefs they hold in high esteem. When a person’s values are tied to their motivation they will have built the compass to their actions. In addition, congruent leaders may have a vision and idea about where they want to go, and began put into action at a proper time. Those leaders are motivational and inspirational and organized and effective communicators and relationship. It makes me feel the charm of leadership is more interesting.http://blog.crisp.se/2012/02/06/anderslaestadius/congruent-leadership

Two visuals:

This figure, the baseball player clenched fist to motivate himself. As we've learned, he desire to win. He has intrinsic motivation, with innate passion, sustained hard to adhere to in order to achieve his goals. This directly reflects the commitment of the core content. And it is able to promote individuals to overcome difficult challenges.

This picture shows that everyone needs to understand and acknowledge himself/herself. We understand our personality traits, values, strengths and beliefs, etc., to promote our continuous learning. As a leader, to learn self-will increase self-identity. This understanding can help us build confidence while allowing us to realize our shortcomings, so that we can better contribute to groups and teams.
