Xuehua Chen's Citizenship Posts: Current Event and Two Visuals

Two Citizenship Visual:

This it a video that created at the year of 2008, named “ Don’t Vote”. Tons of celebrities participant in this shooting of video. It uses a reverse thinking way to tell people how vote is important to the U.S. citizen. Vote is important to all the policies how it will ends. So in the video they question many nowadays’ problem that  exit in the society need to fixe. If people didn’t vote for their right, it would be the time that when the policy comes out, people would argue and cry about the new policy. So in this video, it shows a right of a citizen, which is voting.

The second visuals I want to show it had with a would map. I really like this image. It is kind of represent that the whole world is under control of human being’s hand. However, people can only control part of the world. If we using our hand to destroy, or do harmful things to our planet, it would cause a huge impact on all the people who live oh the earth. At that time, there is no citizenship between every person. We are all consider to be a group of people who are fighting against negative impact. It is called global citizenship.

Current Event Connection:

Right now I am involved in a spartan film showcase. Me and a bunch of friends make a movie during of spare time. And all of use are pretty enjoy it. So we would like to show it on showcase. So we attend the spartan film showcase that held on the new art museum. We shortcut our movie and delivery to the office of spartan film showcase office. We got lucky out film has been selected to be show in the art museum. Then we are going to attend the showcase. In this showcase  it really has direct service, we can advertise our film in the Lansing area without any cost. Besides that we can also gain showcase experience from this even. Also it has a capacity building, we can meet different filmmaker from campus. It build the relationship for us to make a next movie. And make convenient connection on campus.
