I chose this picture because I talked to a friend of mine this week who has been working an organic and sustainable farm for about 4 years now. He is planing on moving to Wisconsin and starting a farm of his own. People that farm using sustainable methods are leaders in their own right because they are working to make a better future. They are thinking about more than just themselves, they have the best interest of the environment and the consumer at heart.
I also chose a picture that shows some of the worlds leaders. Politicians are largely seen as leaders in our society as they use these skills in their everyday work. That is why in our country we elect our leaders because we feel that they will represent the population well and have our best interest at heart.
