Susie Pohl Week 7

I think that overall, we need to recognize that change is a process and does not happen overnight. The seasons changing represents how change takes time and can look different during separate periods. It can be challenging and difficult like winter, or it can be exciting and new like spring. As a leader, recognizing how the process of change works is integral to know how to interact with the community and individuals of the group to stay motivated and focused. This also requires patience during all the seasons. For example, getting through winter is similar to getting through a tough period of change. It can be difficult and uncomfortable, but  a leader should be able to see the positives of winter and learn from the tough time periods  to grow in his or her mindset.

I chose an image of the stock market because a leader truly needs to make an investment in their cause. Leaders should be always willing to grow and investigate wise investments. At the same time, they need to be open to take risks so that they can learn from failure. They should be passionate about their cause because they will need to take the time to interact with community, better develop relationships with the people and be very active to show their interest. The stock market will not always be steady and it will not always grow as everyone desires, but these should be looked as opportunities to learn from. When failures occur or when good things happen, leaders truly need to step back and reflect on why certain things worked or did not work. Investigating and investment are essential.
