I chose this image because it shows a two way mirror. The chapter talks about how important empathy is and thinking in terms of another person's perspective in order to be a good citizen and community member. A two way mirror demonstrates how there is more than one way to look at things and can  help people to better understand another person's emotions by seeing their true feelings.

I chose this image because we are talking about citizenship. Voting is often considered to be a valuable form of "being a good citizen" because that person is exercising their rights as a community member. When people vote that are taking on responsibility and trying to demonstrate that they want to improve their community with their expression of their opinions.
