The first image is one that most of you saw if you typed collaboration into google images, but despite it being so easy to find it is exactly what I think of when I think of collaboration. All of the parts and ideas that people have come together when they collaborate. Collaboration occurs when leaders and groups come together.
Sesame street, and the lessons taught by that Saturday morning cartoon came to mind a number of times while I was reading these last few chapters. Learning to have ideas and letting the people in your group change your idea to make it really fit your group goals is not easy. Elmo teaches about sharing. Grouch teaches us how if we don't allow other peoples opinions into our life we really limit the types of people who will share and socialize with us. I felt like even though Sesame street doesn't teach us complex lessons that the lessons found in that children program often prepare us for collaboration at a level suited to children.
