With this class, the most important thing what I learned and also the
most impressive for me based on the Social Change Model, in my opinion, is about
the collaboration. Social Change is Collaborative , which means that one person
cannot fix a major societal problem. I
chose this picture because it is a good exposition of this point. During the
process to promote the social change, everyone in different position coordinate
and cooperate with other members in order to achieve the common goals. Teamwork
is based team, and a team cannot just rely on a certain person's strength, but
to rely on the strength of the entire team to create a miracle. Collaboration
is an integral part of any one team and the essence is built on the basis of
mutual trust and selfless dedication. Therefore, team members should also be
complementary and mutual assistance.
This picture reminded me an
important point in the process of social change. In the model of social change,
if we want to know how to create social change, we need to locate root cause of
problem at the first. Working as a leader who is committed to promote the social
change, we must use an effectively way by collaborating with other members in
the group. Because social change is a complex process that requires many
elements and may people involved in order to create change.
